Enterprise Timetabler provides academic staff with:
- Accurate and up-to-date timetables.
When used in conjunction with Scientia Web Server and / or Enterprise Reporting Database, staff can obtain their own timetables
for viewing in a browser or as PDF.
- Timetables that consider staff unavailability.
The scheduling engine takes into consideration the unavailability of staff due to activities outside of their teaching commitment.
- Timetables that give weight to staff preferences.
Staff can record their preferences for or against working particular days / times and these are weighed along with other soft constraints in making scheduling decisions.
- Timetables that comply with working practices.
A wide variety of constraints can be applied including keeping whole days free for research commitments, avoiding consecutive
evening and early morning teaching and ensuring time for breaks.
